Police are investigating the death of a man after his body was found alongside the shoulder of a road in Westchester on Monday morning.
The Yonkers Police Department received a report of a dead body shortly before 8:15 a.m., Sgt. Jared Singer said. Responding officers at the scene found the man’s body on Tuckahoe Road near the eastbound shoulder near the I-87 overpass. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is currently unknown. Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit are currently investigating.
